Description
The pose needs no explanation
If you have a cat, you have walked in on this. Back leg straight up, utterly absorbed, making eye contact without a flicker of embarrassment. We built it in bricks because somebody had to.
What makes it ours
Loki’s Bath Time isn’t just a brick cat. It ships with a set of Loki’s Whiskers, the flexible whiskers we’re known for, in both white and black so you choose the look. They’re what turn a blocky little animal into something that actually reads as a cat. Same whiskers, same obsessive fit, now built into a set of their own.
In the box
- 63 bricks in one bag, with an illustrated step-by-step instruction sheet
- Poseable hinged tail that holds whatever position you bend it into
- A pink tongue, and an anatomically committed take on the pose
- Four Loki’s Whiskers: two black, two white. Run whichever pair suits your cat and keep the other two as spares. They’re fine strands by design, which is exactly why they read as whiskers and also why they can snap if you force them. The extras are in the bag for that reason.
- Header-carded polybag, ready to gift as-is
Assembled size: 2.6 x 3.0 x 1.8 in (65 x 77 x 45 mm). 63 bricks plus 4 whiskers.
Not a cat toy. The whiskers are small, thin, and exactly the sort of thing a real cat will try to eat. Loki has demonstrated this personally. Build it, display it, keep it somewhere your cat is not.
Seven cats to choose from
- Cow Cat: black and white, the classic tuxedo troublemaker
- Pure Black Cat: all black, a void with opinions
- Siamese Cat: cream with dark points, loud and in charge
- Orange Cat: orange and white, holder of a single shared brain cell
- Yellow Cat: golden and white, sunbeam professional
- Gray and Black Cat: Black with gray highlights, charcoal and black, quiet menace
- Gray and White Cat: soft gray and white, dignified until proven otherwise
Built by people with cats
Loki’s Whiskers is a small family business named after a real Tonkinese cat who has struck this exact pose on this exact chair more times than anyone has counted.
He is aware of the product line. Last night he let us line all seven up along his back and held perfectly still while we shot them, which is more cooperation than most professionals give you. Then he decided the whiskers were his, bit one, and batted it across the floor.
The photos on this page were taken in the window between those two events.
